Minecraft Maps

Hello!

This is the one condensed location for all my maps I have ever made, and ever will make.

Currently, due to some rather skewed priorities at Mojang, I am on hiatus from creating any further maps, unless some massive inspiration strikes. Since I am not updating past 1.2.5 for the time being, I will most likely not post such a "massive inspiration map" on the forums, but here instead, until Minecraft 1.3 is satisfactorily PF666-compatible.

(That said, if there is a bug in a map that is here, I will fix it. I'm not that cold-hearted. 20 degrees Kelvin is uncomfortable enough.)

Without further ado, here are the maps!

---Adventure---

Adventure maps are story driven--the player has an obvious goal, rather than simply solving puzzles because they are there. They do place obstacles in the player's way, but obstacles that make some kind of sense considering the setting and previous events.

1. Eldmorang Alpha

First release: September 30, 2011

My first completed map ever. It's not amazing. Rsmalec gave it a 12/20. I still do not have any screenshots for it in the latest texture pack. I should probably get those, shouldn't I?

Current Version: 1.4

2. The Creeper Invasion

First Release: January 10, 2012

This map is the sequel to Eldmorang Alpha. It is several times longer, and considerably better quality as well. You will find a better storyline, more variety in puzzle and fight encounters, and hidden loot. The ending sucks because I was really tired of making the map at that point, and I STILL don't know the max score.

Current Version: 1.1

3. Time Passes Away

Estimated release date: Eventually

The third in the trilogy. Not much is known about this one.

Current progress: Procrastinating

---Complete The Monument---

WARNING!! CTM maps are very difficult! They are far harder than normal minecraft or other custom maps. You were warned! Undertaking a CTM map is a big thing and just the small Desert of Demons takes a while to complete.

1. Desert of Demons

First Release: December 15, 2011

This is the first and currently only map in my Ore Scavenger series. The basis is that the monument material is ore, you get only 64 of each ore to use, and that, well, that seems to be it.

Current version: 1.1

2. Rebels Gonna Rebel

Estimated release date: These things take time

The second Ore Scavenger map, slated to include more traps and more interesting, unique environments.

Current progress: Approx. 25-30% built

---Individual Encounters---

These are not full maps, but bits of them. If you are making your own map, you can use these if you credit me. No, I will not make schematics of these, I do not have mcedit.

1. The Basement

This was originally an entry for Jigarbov's 20x20x20 encounter contest which was later used to create the Adventure Multiplex. It consists of a large room in which the player must reroute water through glass pipes to four different endpoints, to open a door. While doing this, spiders come out of the air vents to kill you. Miraculously, it came in 7th place, out of 80.

2. Some Floating Castle Ruin Thing

(This picture is of an early version.)

Abootflock wanted me to create a mid-to-late-game dungeon for a CTM map of his, and here it is. This dungeon has no starting equipment, so you will need toomanyitems or equivalent to try it. It is very very difficult. The intended end chest has 4 stacks of bottles of enchanting in it, but you can reposition it and/or change the loot.

Don't get too comfortable with it, though: he tells me it will be put in the map upside down.
